for dinner, do they seat you at a table with other people, or is it just your family? I know a lot of other cruise companies have you with other people, and personally that doesn't really interest me.

thanks.

you will have a table to yourself, so just your family. They only put people together with other people if your only a party of 2.

In May we were seated by ourselves. Some friends we met from this board were seated with another group of 4. I think it is just random if you get tablemates or not.

We are a party of 3, two adults and a child. We have also had a table for 6. Usually my daughter is the only child or if their are childern it has been older teens. We always ask for a table for 4 but it is never granted.

???I don't think that is accurate. They put lots of parties together, of all sizes. I think you can only get a table to yourself if you request it - and even then - it is certainly not a guarantee.

That is not accurate. We were a family of 3 that sat with a family of 5. Our children were similar ages though. It was a lot of fun, and the kids enjoyed themselves.

You can go to the Maitre'D when you board and see if arrangements can be made, but nothing guaranteed that you will be just your family. Good luck.

We did not request to be seated by ourselves, but we were. Pros/Cons to being seated alone...

We are a party of 10 people, including 3 children. Do they seat this many people together? I assume they push two rectangular tables together.

On our first cruise, we (family of 4) were seated with another family of 4. Their kids were of similar ages (and, we didn't know this until later, but we actually booked through the same travel agent). This worked out fine for us. On our most recent cruise, we actually went with another family of 4, so we were naturally seated all together.

We never requested to be seated alone, so I don't know the likelyhood that this request would have been honored.

We are a party of 9 including 4 children. We have always been seated at a table that seats 10 people but it has not been two tables pushed together. HTH

Party of four seated with party of four.

It was nice. Our kids were the same age, and when they all ate in the kids clubs (most nights) we had other adults to make conversation with rather than staring at each other. I love my DH a lot, but I've been making conversation with him for ten years.
