Question about dining plan

I have booked a trip to WDW in March for me and my adult niece. We have the QS dining plan and I thought I read somewhere that you can use 2 QS credits for one TS meal. Does anyone know if this is true?

Not true. You can, in some cases, "trade down", but you can never "trade up".

You ca use 1 QS for 3 snacks.
You can use 1TS for 3 snacks, or for 1QS meal (both of which are terrible values).
You cannot trade snacks up for QS, or QS up for TS.

Will the conversion for 1 QS still be 3 snacks after 2017? I wondered if it might change to 2 snacks instead, since desserts were dropped from QS.

No one knows and probably won't know until Jan 1 when someone tries to do it.
