Question about dining plan and split stay!

We've decided to do a split stay and I have a question!

We'll be checking in Nov 26 at AKV and checking out Nov 28. We'll be on the DxDDP. Our credits for this leg of vacation can be used until midnight on Nov 28, right? What if I check in to our other hotel before then? Does that mess anything up?

We'll be checking in Nov 28 and checking out Dec 5 at CSR also on the DxDDP. Could I technically check in at CSR around noon on the 28th and have those dining credits to be used the 28th too? In other words, can I have TWO reservations "active" with dining credits??

Just trying to make sure I have enough credits to cover all ADRs. Basically, I'm planning meals on the 26-28 from the credits we'll have while staying at AKL and using credits for the 28-5th for our stay at CSR.

What if I check in to our other hotel before then? Does that mess anything up? No, you'll have the credits from this resort stay available as soon as you check in as well.

In other words, can I have TWO reservations "active" with dining credits?? Yes. Disney sees this as 2 completely separate resort reservations. Your leftover credits from AKL won't expire until 11:59 PM on the 28th and your CSR credits will be available to you as soon as you check into CSR so for the rest of the 28th you'll have credits from both DxDDP plans available. Checking into CSR has no affect on your leftover AKL DxDDP credits.

Just thought of one thing:

For the 28th if you're planning a 2 credit meal (e.g. CRT, dinner show or a sig) and you have 1 credit leftover from AKL you cannot combine that with 1 credit from the CSR dining plan to add up to 2 credits. If, however, you're doing a 1 credit meal, you can use credits from both dining plans. Give your server the KTTW card from AKL and CSR. Just make sure s/he uses up all the credits from AKL KTTW card first.
