Question about Dining plan and arrival date

So we have the basic dining plan included in our package. We arrive after 3pm on our arrival date and will probably eat lunch on the way. Do we bank the snack and QS credits we would have if we were there the whole day? How does that work?

Yes if you don't want to use them on your arrival day you will just have more to use throughout your stay. You can use as many as you want per day until they are gone. If you have any left on the day you check out you could use them on that day.

As PP said you can use your as many, or as few, credits per day as you want. You will get your credits based on how many nights you stay.

And yes you can use your remaining credits on your last day, even after you checkout. You have until midnight to use them all.

we are using our CS for dinner the day we arrive and will save that days TS to use for CRT (2TS). will save some money there

As others have said credits are based per night. If you are arriving early/reasonably early the first day and leaving late the last then you need to be careful with your credits as obviously you would need more. For example I'm doing 13 night (14 days) so am making sure I use 1 CS on the 1st day and 1 on the last to ensure I still have 2 each day inbetween.

The way the dining plan credits work is that when you check in to your resort you will be given all of your dining credits for your entire stay up front. You are then free to use as many of each type of credit as you'd like per day until they're all gone or midnight on the day you check out, whichever comes first. If your resort reservation is 7 nights then using the DDP you'll receive 7 TS credits, 7 CS credits, and 7 snack credits per person in the room as soon as you check in. If you don't want to use any of those credits until day 3 and then use them all up in 2 days then you can do that. If you want to use them up all on your arrival day then you can do that. You're free to use them however you want.
