question about developer points

Hello everyone I have a question and hope this is the right place for it.

I just bought into the akv and got the 180 developer points which the guide said was for use at saratoga springs or the passport resorts I think it was, but what I was wondering is if anyone knew if these points could be applied toward a disney cruise?

No developer points cant be used for cruise.

Best to call your guide and reconfirm exactly what you can and cannot do with your developer points. Check the expiration as well, believe it is 12 months from your purchase.

thanks for the information, I was pretty sure that was the answer but wanted a second opinion. My points don't expire until Sept of 09 so plenty of time to come up with a use for them LOL.

It was my understanding that the current developer points offered at AKV could only be used at SSR or one of the Disneyland hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier or Grand Californian). Best to check with you guide or MS to be sure.

I just purchased on Saturday at AKL, and the developer points are only good at SSR, and of the DL resorts or the II resorts. You have to use them within one year.
