question about Desserts!

Hi All, had two questions. If there arent any desserts that my Disney Kid/adults like can they get a bowl of ice cream or something typically? And regarding snacks, does it specify on menus if a snack is available as a snack credit using the DDP or is it safe to assume if its a snack it can be purchased using a snack credit? thanks all

At table service you might be able to just get ice cream instead of dessert.

But at quick service they only have the 2-3 options for pre-packaged dessert. But you can get any snack credit item instead of dessert. Also resort food courts have a lot of different options for dessert snacks.

Snacks have a small purple DDP logo next to them so can be easily identified.
