Question about DDP

We are checking into our hotel on 12/24. Since we are driving down, I am hoping to get there late on the 23rd and stay in a motel close to Disney. I plan to check in early in the morning on the 24th to get our tickets. My question is, are meals factored in for your check in day? And also, at check-in, can we get everything so we can use the meal plan? We plan to go to DTD for some shopping while waiting for our room and would love to go to the Earl of Sandwich to get lunch. Never been there, but I keep hearing great reviews. Any help? Thanks!

Yes, when you check in you will receive your keys even if the room isn't ready. The DDP is encoded on the keys and you will be good to go with the DDP.

When you purchase the DDP, it is based on the number of nights you stay. So, if you have a 4 night stay, you will have 4 TS X the number of people in your group, 4 CS, and 4 snacks for each person.

You can check in at your resort whenever you arrive--the bellman will hold your bags until your room is ready. You can start using your credits as soon as you check in. THey can be used until midnight on the day you check out.

Thanks so much, that really helps! Since we are driving down and leaving early Saturday morning, we definately will not be using the DDP that day, which makes it perfect for the day we arrive. Thanks again for the help.
