Question about dates?

According to the crowd calendar the dates of Jun 23 thru July 1 would have lower crowds than the dates for July 7 thru July 15. Would it really be that much of a difference between the two dates? I believe more of the AP's are blocked in July that is why I thought those dates would be better. Any advice? We tried to go DL last summer but wound up going to DW again. This year we have decided to surprise our girls and take them to DL, but make them think we are going to DW.Thanks in advance.

I've heard that touring plans crowd calendar for DLR isn't necessarily accurate. As for next summer specifically, it'll really depend on when Carsland opens. If it's open prior to the socal blockouts then I expect higher crowds in June. I think many are trying to delay there summer 2012 trips to later in the summer because no one really knows when DCA will be done.

That is the key, and we won't know what date exactly for a long time.

Either having APs blocked when there are, can be a boom for planning or a bust.

Thanks for all the replies. I believe I am just going to go with the July dates and stick with them. I really hope that Cars Land is open then, but if not maybe that will get us back there when we have our school break in the fall.
