Question about CRT charge

I booked CRT for our trip in November. I know that you have to give a CC to hold the reservation, but I didn't realize that it would actually charge. I thought it only charged if you didn't show up. But the full charge for my meal has already hit my CC. I guess that's right?

If you are not on the Dining Plan, this is right. They should have warned you first though! At least that's one less thing you have to pay for when you get there!

I guess I figured it wouldn't charge until we were there. I was going to pay cash. Oh well. She did say that the charge included tip. I repeated, "Tip?" and she said, "Yes."
