Question about CRT cancellation

I currently have an ADR at CRT. It is not at a convienent time nor on a convienent day for us but it was all that was available, so I took it. I was wondering if while we are there, I am able to score another time/day that fits our schedule better and cancel the original one, will I still be penalized for cancelling the original one without the 48 hours notice? I would still be eating there, just at another time during the trip.

Yes, I think so. They would be 2 different reservations if you are able to find another one, so any penalties would apply to each one individually.
