I bought all of my kids Crocs and they love them (and I love that they can put them on themselves:thumbsup2 ), but I'm wondering for those of you who's kids wear them at DL, do you have problems with them coming off of their feet? Especially on the rides?

I know they would be nice, especially if their feet get wet, but I'm thinking regular sandals or tennis shoes might be safer, has anyone had any problems with theirs? They have been wearing them all the time since I bought them so they've had plenty of time to get used to them.

My kids and I all wore them on our last trip, and didn't have any problems. The only time we took them off was for Soarin and Orange Stinger in DCA. Crocs are a wonderful thing!

I think they'll be fine!! My kids wear sandals in the day when they tend to get wet, and tennis shoes at night!!! I do the same and I find the change in the middle of the day helps my feet tremendously!!

But if they are used to them and fit them right, I don't see why they would come off. Just use the heel strap if you have to!!

That's a good idea, and I was thinking of using Hydroguy's advice and taking a break in the afternoon so we could change at the hotel and not have to carry shoes with us. Thanks for the replies, I just don't want to spend all day chasing shoes.

I just got into crocks in the past few months, so i've never worn them to disneyland before. My question is wouldnt they blister your feet? I mean they are rubber and combined with the heat, and the the rubbing on the rubber as you walk, wouldnt that make blisters? I mean I know they are air circulated but im still a bit concerned.

I have never had blisters wearing crocs. In fact, they are the only shoes so far I have NOT had blisters with at Disneyland. I have worn them now 3 times there in the past 3 years. My feet ache but at least I can still walk on them.

My sons wore their crocs everyday at Disneyland. I had them put socks on at night with them. They took them off for soarin as well and that was it.

My girls wore theirs to DL last summer and did complain of some blisters but I just got them some little light weight ped socks and that helped a lot.

I wear mine ALL the time and have never had a problem with blisters and I just bought the new athens sandals which are like thongs and I am planning on wearing them on my july trip so I will be interested to see if I have even better luck since they are so open.

Good luck and I think you will find they are great comfort for a long day in the park.

you know what you could do??? buy moleskin...you can find it at walmart, target all of those places...in the same aisle as bandaids and stuff for feet...its a sheet of this stuff and you cut it to the size of the area you need to protect...I bought some on my trip in Feb. for my dd and she didnt have to use them thank goodness but Ive used it in the past and its very good...just put it on in the place you feel one coming and your good to go:goodvibes

I was amazed at the amount of kids I saw at Disneyland wearing CROCs. I ended up buying a pair for my 12 year old daughter at Disneyland and now she swears by them. Her feet didn't hurt at all. I on the other hand had bought myself a pair of Prima CROCs at the local mall and I ended up with a blister which shocked me. I went back to my Birkenstocks. So I was OK anyway.

I wore mine at WDW for 8 days (one day was our down day from the parks). Anyhow, I wore mine with scks - not very fashionable, but was comfy for me. I did not get blisters, did get a couple hot-spots - but was able to take cae of those before they became blisters.
