Question about CR

We haven't even left for our trip this year and we're already thinking about next year's trip...ha!!

We were thinking of the CR next year July 2-9. My Step-dad will be coming with us this time and this is where he's always wanted to stay.

He wants to drive down (we live in Ohio) which is no biggie to me as long as I'm not the one driving...ha!!

So we are thinking of renting a minivan to drive down. He said it seemed silly to rent a van for 9 days and park it for 7. So we were thinking of renting it one way and dropping it off and then getting one for the way back.

Does the CR have rental car services available? If not is there somewhere close on the property that we can do this?

I don't know the answer but you might want to ask this ? on the transportation board as well.

National and Alamo are Disney's official transportation companies - I believe that you can rent a car at CR and the car will come to you but you may want to call CR directly and confirm that. If it helps at all, I have found National to be the best deal out of all available rental car companies

I suspect the one-way rental surcharges will make it cheaper (or maybe a wash) to just have the car all nine days, but you'd have to check with the rental agencies to be sure.
