Question about Concierge Level at PPH

I've stayed club level at PPH with friends. I was just along for the ride, so to speak, so I don't know about the email (although I feel like I would have heard about that). It was definitely nice to have access to. They did have chocolate covered strawberries when I was there, but as you mentioned, they only have the items for a short time interval. It wasn't always practical to run back to the hotel from the parks for every little thing. The dinner appetizers seemed to only have 1 "hot" item a night and sometimes those items were a little different (eggrolls, wontons, empanadas). Not everyone in my group enjoyed the appetizers. They also had veggie sticks, cheese, crackers. We found that they basically had the same things everyday and only had one item that would change each time. During the day, they have chips, uncrustables, drinks, etc. We found plenty to snack on throughout the day and you can even ask for bottles of water, but they aren't cold. The straws were fun, too.

I haven't stayed CL PPH but have recently returned from GCH CL. We have never received the IPO planning email that I have seen WDW CL receives nor did we attempt to use CL IPO pre-trip for planning purposes as it's very easy to set up our own dining/activities. I don't even know if that's available for DL CL? We have utilized the concierge for changing reservations & making reservations once onsite and they were very helpful. I haven't stayed PPH CL but I do know the offerings get better as the prices get healthier. PPH is the base CL, DLH is next and GCH is the flagship resort and corresponding flagship CL where offerings add in Tea Time & sparkling wine on request. I haven't been to WDW but am currently researching it. I don't think there is a comparison CL wise. Hotel wise people say PPH compares more to the WDW moderates than deluxes.

We stayed at the GCH concierge in Sept. last year and never got a IPO planning email. We reserved concierge at the GCH for next Spring and haven`t received an email except for the confirmation.

We stay PPH Concierge and usually receive a phone call prior to the trip, instead of an email.

There is a great thread around here somewhere that has pictures of all 3 Concierge Lounges at DLR. I will see if I can find it and bump it up for you!
