Question about College Program

1. Does applying for Disney College Program mean that we MUST be receiving academic credit for the internship?
Can I just go to the program for the experience even though I am enrolled in a college and do not necessarily want any credits out of it since it would cause me to fill additional paperwork?

2. Also where do you declare your background check? Like if you wanna declare something on your record, where on the application process would you do that?
I have finished the web based interview and it hasn't me about background checks yet.

Thanks!

1. Nope, if you're in school right now and get accepted for Fall you can go without getting any credits or taking any classes. Just working. Make sure and check with your college though, sometimes you have to remain a full time student to get financial aid and scholarships which can affect your future terms.

2. In the application you mention any sort of criminal records and they might ask you about in the phone interview if that's what you mean unless they changed it. You have your fingerprints taken and your background checked when you check-in. If that's what you mean.

By credits I mean that considering DCP gives you credits for attending can I just say I do not want the credit and I am just attending because of the experience?
I don't mean class credits from my college

DCP doesn't give you credits (what kind of credits do you mean? All I know is academic) for attending, it's just a job experience for your resume.

Any academic credits you want to get (marketing credit from DCP classes or internships depending on your job) would have to go through your school, not the CP. Though they might help with the paperwork if you have to prove it to your school. But if you don't do anything with your college then the CP is just an experience.

My daughter just completed FA.....She moved in June 9th and I think hers was one of the latest move-in choices. Move-in days are typically Monday's.
