I am sure this is a stupid question but thought i would ask anyway :)

I got a code, i already booked with the gift card, but i remember everyone saying the code was a better deal, but i have been running the numbers and cant figure it out...

when you book a package with a code, does it take the % off your park tickets also? and dining?

Thanks in advance, for helping this newb :)

We're newbies, and I've been doing the numbers over and over again too--because everyone is talking about how much it is saving them, but it appears the gift card is the better option for us.

It's my understanding that the current code is for the room only. We're staying in a value resort (I think the bigger savings are for the other resorts?). 7 nights, 4 adults, 7 day base tickets, plus dining.

In our figuring, we counted how much gratuities would be too.

thank you! i called disney and they said all codes are room only, i compared numebrs, and i will save an extra $47 with the code vs the gc :) hey $47 is $47 right?

Sure is. I'd take it. LOL

For us after I ran the numbers, the 500.00 gift card is the better deal (we'll be staying at a moderate) so we are keeping our current ressie and not changing to the room only code.

We are staying for 9 nights so I did a split stay with the $500 gift card for 5 nights and my 35% off moderates pin code for the last 4 nights :yay: Doing that instead of all 9 nights with the code saved an additional $156 :woohoo: Every little bit helps :goodvibes
