First time posting here and I hope someone would be able to help me with this.
I received 4 CM complimentary tickets from my friend working in HK Disneyland. :cool1:
Since I am a newbie here cannot post the photograph. Let me described the card here.

It is a white plastic card with a castle and some words "Disney Parks" "Where dreams come true" printed in the front.

At the back are the terms and conditions
1 day Cast Complimentary, not for sale, void if sold
<name of cast member>
Valid at HKDL, WDW, DLR & DLP
Valid through XX December 2014
ACCXX HDT:XXX XX/XX/XXXX Tr:XXX T:XXX
(where x are number)

I am staying on site mid Aug and was hoping to link the ticket onto my MDE
Called Disney before and they say these kind of ticket cannot be linked into the MDE

But I want to ask do I still need to exchange for another RFID ticket to enter park? According to my friend these are already RFID cards. If I need to change the card, can I do it in advance for all four of them rather than going to Guest Service each morning as I am planning to do rope drop for all 4 days visiting parks.

And will I be able to have it put onto my MB once in park? Or do I carry this card around for FP of the day?

Thanks to this board, I have learnt so much about WDW. Thanks everyone in advance. You are all wonderful to share so much tips and tricks. I will also contribute to this board with my finding and experience.

Not sure if HK Disney comps are RFID or not but my gut feeling is that they will have to be exchanged for WDW RFID media since WDW is a "stand alone system" not used at the other parks at this time. They could all be done at one time.

I'm working today with the FP CM's at parade FP location and can ask them but I'm really not sure if that group will know. I've never seen a HK comp when I've worked park entry but I also don't work that area as much anymore.

I will check this afternoon when I get to work with someone from Guest Relations and see if they know. Will post back but it will be in the morning as I am working until midnight. Maybe someone else will have more info before then.

Thanks thanks.... It's not in a hurry. I won't arrive until Mid-Aug. Was hoping to get them linked to my MDE. But I guess that's a mission impossible for me. So I will get myself ready and do Rope Drop and grab whatever FP day of left in park....

Hi, I received the same kind of ticket from a cast member friend from HKDL! May I ask how were you able to use them at WDW? I'm planning to use mine at DLR this coming January. My ticket also has my friend's name on it, so I'm hoping to get some information on whether or not I have to bring my friend's identification with me when I enter the gate. Are these things RFID enabled? Do I have to exchange them with a different kind of ticket upon entry? How were you able to use yours? I hope you can help me with this. Thanks!

At DLR, when you use a comp ticket, go directly to the gate where the ticket is scanned and a tyvek ticket gets issued to you. You do not need any ID nor info regarding the CM who gifted you the ticket. We used a total of 3 comps at DLR last week without any problem at all.

Complimentary Guest will be printed on the ticket that is a park hopper.

Great! Thanks a lot for the info!
