Question about Cirque tickets?

I was wondering if the tickets came with a designated seat number? I need 7 tickets for the day I am going and was thinking about buying a few at a time to ease the budget constraints. I thought it might be doable since it appeared you paid simply for tier not seat.

Any help from those who have been would be great. I would really like for us to sit together!

I'm trying to remember, but I think they were specific seat numbers. I'm sure we wouldn't have chosen some of the seats we had way back when if we could sit anywhere.

Yes, the specific seats (section, row and seat number) are assigned at the time that you purchase the tickets.
