I have been looking at this place for me and DD9 to visit and I have some questions. I see it is on the DDP, 1 TS credit. I do not see a children's menu, is this correct, and if there not one then my DD would order off the regular? I read somewhere in all this info the there is no children's menu because they do not actually really like children there... anyone have any experience with kids at this place and how they were treated by staff?? I am looking for a place in Epcot to replace Le Cellier's, which I have just decided is not worth 2 TS credits. Thanks for the input... I LOVE geeking out on this stuff :surfweb:

Chefs de France does have a child's menu. This site has a recent menu:

All of the restaurants in DW, except Victoria and Albert, allow children. Chefs is definitely filled with families. Remy makes regular appearances there and is a great favorite with most children.

The Bistro de France which is upstairs doen't have a child's menu so that might be the French restaurant you are thinking of as being less child friendly.

We had four children with us at Chef Des France on our last trip, and the waiter was excellent with them. Remy was brought right up to our table. I do believe we ordered from a children's menu for them, at least I don't remember not having one and that would be something that would stand out to me. We booked it again for our trip this May.

We tried Chefs De France on l our trip last summer for the first time. It is now one of our very favorites! DH is super picky and he really loved it. He has some kind of peppercorn gravy steak. There were lots of kids and it seemed quite family friendly.

We are going to go back so we can hopefully see Remi next time

my kids loved Chefs, and the waitress was great with them. It looks like from the link above, however, that they don't have the same kids menu as when we were there in October. Shame, my DD loved the cheese wrapped in a flaky pastry she had as a starter at lunch; and the waitress shared that it was always her favorite when she was a little girl in France.
