Question about charging privileges

If you are sharing a room with another adult, is it possible to have 2 separate credit cards on file? One tied to one key card and one tied to the other?

I have heard that it is possible. The front desk clerk at POFQ a couple years ago said that only the person who was the "head" of the reservation could have a cc on the account and it was a huge hassle to change the ressie from my name to my mom's name at check in so she could put her cc on file. I think though, that the CM was confused though.

yes we have done it several times but something to kee in mind is that the charging allowed is total....so no natter how many cards are on the reservation the limit is the same. i think they say they run it automatically if you get close but i have had to call and ask before.

I've done this with my sister. It usually gets screwed up, so check with the front desk after a day or so to see how it is coming out. Then you can fix it immediately instead of having to try to fix everything at the end of your stay. The intention is good; the execution, not so much.

I think I read on here somewhere last night that when you check out, it is noted somehow on the invoice which key card made each card. Can anyone confirm this? I haven't really paid attention to the details on my past invoices, just the total! If that's the case, I won't mind just having all the charges go to one credit card then settle up when we leave. The new system installed a bit less that two years ago now allows for you to do so. It used to be only the lead person on the ressie could have a credit card on the KTTW card.

Yes, I had credit card priviledges for all my traveling party. Their name will appear on your invoice that they provide at the end of your stay. You can always go to the concierge desk each day and they can print a current one out as well.
