Question about Characters/Signatures/Postcards

I'm wanting to send a few postcards home to friends and family during our trip.

#1) Average price of postcards?

#2) How long do characters stick around tables to sign stuff? Is it one signature per person?

#3) Same question when you see a character in the parks? One signature per person?

I don't want 50 postcards, but thought one or two to the grandparents would be fun.

Can't answer the first question as I REALLY don't remember how much postcards ran - not too too outrageous.

About signatures - the only time characters are going to be at a table to sign would be if you were at a character meal, otherwise, with very few exceptions, do they have anything supportive to rest paper on. Plan on having something (maybe one of these mini-clipboards? to put the postcards on - also have whatever pen you want them to sign with handy.

I don't know if there is a rule about how many signatures - certainly if three siblings walk up with three autograph books the character will sign for each. If it is you and your husband I don't think you'll have any problem getting them to sign two postcards.

Hope that helps!

Here's a real insider tip on Character Dining and Meetings, and I would know since I used to know the character "REAL" well....we were good friend.

When at the dinning. The characters usually trying to hit the tables one at a time...you'll never get more than one at your table.
Make sure you have you books and pens out before they get to your table so they can quickly sign the books, and make sure its in a location that is easy to reach.
If you are only two people at the table but have 5 books, it doesn't matter...like i said, just make sure they are out on the table with a pen ready. And they really only need on pen.

After the signing its picture time. PLEASE do not get up from your seat unless instructed to by either the character or the attendant.
Usually the character will go around the table and try to get one picture with each person.
If you want a group shot...ASK the character if that is a possibility and unless they are swamped with tables, it should be no problem. Just ask someone to take the picture...the character will know where to stand and how they want you to stand.

If you're going to a meet and greet. Be sure to have all the books open and ready with preferably one pen. The Character will try to get those out of the way as fast as possible and then spend the rest of the time having fun with the group and taking pictures.
Again it doesn't matter how many books or papers, or postcards you have, just as long as they are ready to be signed with no problem.

Also if you have a bunch of whatever that needs to be signed, you might want to let the character know "hey i have blank number of whatever" and then they will be able to judge how much time they have with your family.

its always funny to see families make a big scandal about getting things signed when really its just very easy.

And if you have ANY questions, just ask an attendant. Those very nice people wearing the yellow ****s and black bottoms...they are the characters best friend...aside from their other best friends like me :)

hope this helps!
