I was wondering how this will work. I want to book my December trip to WDW at the Disney Club discount rate (and pay the $200) deposit, then change to an AP discounted rate when it comes out. How do I handle changing the deposit to the new ressie? Will I be required to go ahead and pay the additional deposit amount (to increase the deposit to the required one night's stay amount), or will they hold my room with less than the amount of one night's stay deposited? Is it a huge hassle to do this? Thanks for the help! :)

I've done it several times and it hasn't been a hassle. These days it's a $100 deposit for the Disney Club reservation. They won't be able to transfer the money if you get an AP rate, though. You'll still have to put down one night's stay and get a refund on the Disney Club reservation. I use my American Express and it's always been credited on the same billing cycle as the charge for the new reservation.
