question about changing reservation

I booked my reservation under the stay 4 nights and get 2 USF/IOA tix and 2 movie tix free. My rate was 214/night at RPR for 8/21 - 8/27. I just looked today and found the same dates now have a super saver rate of 161/night with no other tix or anything included. Can I call up and ask them to change my reservation to the super saver rate? or am I out of luck?

I've crunched the numbers several times...Booking a AAA rate or Super Saver rate is always and adding in the tickets separately is always more cost efficient than Universal package prices...IMHO Universal Packages are a rip off!!! If you're a Florida Res, Flor. Res rates are fabulous..I got an inlaw a Flo Res rate, at RP, waterview for $160 per night! Awesome!

Good Luck..They'll definately change it if less than 5 days!

I'm going 8/17-8/23 and found the same lower rates about a month ago. When I figured it all out, it was cheaper to change to the lower rate and buy the tickets I needed. I was able to revise my reservation on the website - which was where I originally booked.

last year i booked a room only at hrh with the AAA discount.

months later the supersaver rates came out and was way cheaper.

i called. they changed my rate to the supersaver rate.
because i had paid for one in advance, they had the credit on my bill.

it was easy to switch rates.

call and switch yours.

buy the promo tickets now before they are discontinued.

then i saw the supersaver rates and called no biggy/ they credited the 1 nt 216 and charged $197 w/tax on my cc again,
I have to say the 1 st lady was not too happy and just hung up on me, but i called back to add the same requests. refrig, my b-day and the tower and the 2nd lady was excellant,,, she couldn't do enough for me noted all my requests and was happy to do it...
just like dis it depends on who answers...

Thanks to everyone. I called and changed the ressie and got the 161/night rate. Then went and bought the park tix before the price goes up again. I'm so glad I found this board; you guys are awesome.
