Question about changing my ressie at 43 day mark

I was on hold last night for an hour then got disconnected, I know the phones are crazy with the Hurricane in Fl now, so I will see if anyone here knows the answer and not tie up the phones anymore today.
I am booked with 2 standard rooms with FREE DINING at CSR. . Clearly, that promo has ended, but can I still switch resorts or add another room? Feeling cramped with 6 adults in 2 rooms. Theres a Junior King suite available (online) for coronado, can I switch one of my rooms to that, even though its so late and still keep my Free dining?

Since the promo is over, it's going to be tough. A regular phone CM will absolutely not be able to do that for you. The system will just not let them. Your only chance will be with Guest Services. When you get through ask the CM to put you through to Guest Services.

Just my $.02, 3 adults in a Moderate room has not felt cramped to me. We've done it multiple times.

This is correct. Modifying your reservation is doable through guest services (pending availability), but you won't be able to add another room under FD. If the room you want to change to is available under FD, guest services can make the change without losing FD. You can't, however, add another room and get FD since that promo has expired and adding another room would technically be a new reservation.

So, they can still check FD availability?
My checking online doesn't mean it's avail to me then, correct?

Yes, guest services can. As dansdad posted, when you call, ask to speak to guest services as CRO can't check availability on expired promos.

You are correct that you cannot check availability online since the FD promo has expired.

1. As PP have said, the CM who answers the phone will not be able to check because the promo has expired. You will have to ask if a Guest Services CM can check. Often, you will be asked to stay on the line while the CM you are on the phone with checks with GS so be sure to explain exactly what you want. You cannot add another room because that would be a new reservation and the promo has expired, but you might be able to change resorts and/or room type IF there is still availability.

2. You cannot check for room availability for the FD promo because that has expired. You can only check online for current promos and non-promo room availability so even if the room category/resort is available for your dates it doesn't mean it's available with FD.
