Question about cell phone bill (Alltel)

If I'm in California and call Kansas, would the bill indicate that the call came from California?

My phone only shows the number I called, not where I was when I called it.

I've made calls from the states of CA, NY, FL, MN, NJ, PA, GA, TN, KY, etc.

I have Verizon and my bill will tell me what tower my phone picked up when I made my calls. However sometimes they can be way off. I made a call in Nevada once and they said some little tower in Washington picked it up and charged me a huge amount in roming fees. It was a huge fight to get it taken care of.
