I read the following on Allearsnet:

"There is also a teen beach just after the family beach featuring swim floats, a rope swing and an in-water jungle gym."

So my question is, is the in-water jungle gym only for teens? My kids saw what looked like a rope crossing over water on the travel channel and were hoping to get to do it.

Teens could use it, but the item you're describing is smack-dab in the middle of the family beach area.

The rope swing gym thing is in the middle of the family beach and is open to everyone. The last time we were there, the lifeguards had it closed. There is a teen beach area.

Thanks for the answers.

kcashner - do you know why the Lifegaurds had it closed?

We had the saame thing, it also was closed at times when we were there...
Does not make much sense when you are there for only a few hours.

I have never seen it closed...perhaps it needed some repair work. The teen beach is beyond that area. If you leav the ship later in the day, come all the way down to the end of the family beach just beyond the play area and you fill find plenty of lounge chairs and maybe even an unoccupied hammock. That is also a good area because it is near the restrooms and Castaway Jo's gameroom.

It was opened last Friday on our 11/29/03 Eastern.

It was closed for a short time while on our June cruise. The reason is that it got to be very low tide and the kids were jumping and diving into the water. They closed it while the tide was so low so that no one got injured, a good reason if you ask me.
