We have never eaten at Carthay Circle, but want to try it for my daughter's upcoming 16th birthday trip. She is bringing a friend who is a picky eater, and also doesn't eat meat or chicken. Is it possible to order an adult portion (for an adult price) off the kid's menu, of say, the caesar and pasta with tomato sauce?

Also, does anyone have a picture of the tempura fried shrimp? My daughter wants to try that.

Thank you! :)

I ate there for lunch one day and asked if they could make one of the starter salads an entree size for me. Some of their salads have no meat on them so that may be an option for her. Not sure about that adult portion from kids menu though.

The CM at Disney Dining said that she can order from the kids menu no problem! Depending on the server, they will either just let her order the kids size at the kids price, or kids menu item with about double the food for about double the price. Carthay also has other items on the menu like fish or vegetarian options. Hope she can find something that she likes. Also, make sure to their cheese biscuits with apricot honey butter, yum :)
