Hello!
We have a trip booked at CBR in a preferred room. I am wondering if there is any reason to request the martinique bldg over the trinidad bldg? I know they are both close to port royale, the martinique looks like its closer to a playground/beach area.
Does anyone have a preference over either of these or will either be great?!

You will be very happy with either one. There is also a playground in Jamaica that you could use.

Welcome to the DIS.

Safetymom is right -- you will like either one. We have stayed in Martinique 2549, and Trinidad North 3128 -- both villages are great, both were preferred location rooms. For what it's worth, walking the resort is great -- It is so beautiful, and frankly, it's just a great stroll.

Feel free to browse the photos in the links below... we love CBR!!

I have stayed North Trinidad and Martinique - either one is very convenient to everything.....but dont stay in South Trinidad.....unless you really want to be away from everything!!:dance3:

Thank you!!! I love all the pictures!! Thanks for posting the links,
I can't wait to go! One of the reasons this resort appealed to us was because it is so spread out, and the walkways, the lake, it all just looks so inviting. My hubby is a runner and he is itching to run the path around the lake!
This will be the first time to WDW with our kids who are 7 and 4......hubby and I went before kids 20 years ago ( gosh I feel old just saying that.....LOL)

Tell him to make sure to get out there EARLY to run. The Promenade (the paved path) is not as wide as it could/should be in spots, and when there are families ambling about, a runner might have to do a lot of weaving through traffic rather than running straight.

Well, I don't think you're old. Our kids are now 7 and 5, and prior to our first trip with them in 2005, we hadn't been to WDW together for 17 years.

I will tell him about the path, he is an early bird anyway........
I noticed your location........I met my hubby in Cape May ( he was stationed there, coast guard!)........spent all my summers "down the shore".........LOL
