Question about candy from the Halloween party...

I was wondering if the candy given out at the Halloween party was just run of the mill stuff. Does any of it have Disney characters printed on them? I just thought Disney themed candy would make a great gift for friends at home. How bad are the line ups at the candy stations? Is there any candy stations that seem quieter? How generous are the cast members with candy? Thanks! This will be our first halloween party !

There were no disney themed candies that we saw. There was a lot of Laffy Taffy, mini candy bars, etc - all name-brand, higher-quality stuff, but nothing that really screamed "disney" that could be brought back.

The candy was the "good stuff" but no Disney character candy. We got much better candy at Disney compared to Seaworld in 2004.

They do give out great candy, but not Disney themed. The lines for candy can get quite long, especially the closer it is to Halloween. We always go at the beginning of October so the lines aren't quite as bad. You'll find that at the very end of the night (like, after 11:30) the CMs start to get very generous with the candy. They were giving us huge handfuls of the stuff. We had to get a second bag to hold it all :)

The earlier in the season,, the shorter the lines probably are for the candy. The stations are well identified. I found the cm's to be generous with the candy. DH and I each received 1/2 to 3/4 of the bag full. We really enjoyed ourselves.
As another poster mentioned you really don't go for the candy. Too many other great things to do!

Thanks I can hardly wait! We are going Sept. 15th so hopefully it won't be too busy! I like the idea of waiting til close to the end of the night though for the trick or treating. We will be one 14 yo girl and two diabetics so I think I know who will inherit the candy! lol! :cheer2:

Best place to go is the path between Toontown and Tomorrowland late in the night .

They have 4 big ( 3ft) Teacups filled and don't want to have to take any of it back inside. They will load you up.

We took a backpack and just dumped our bags intothat as the night went on.It made it easier to get on and off the rides.

you must have gotten quite a bit of candy then. I found that when you had an empty candy bag they seemed to put more candy in it.

I kid you not... we came home with 15 POUNDS of candy between the 3 of us! We were staying with our friend and weighed it at his house.

We had Pixie Sticks coming out our ears! I probably sent 4 lbs of those to Erich's school when we got home!!

I know we got chocolate too like Milky Ways and Nestle crunch.Nothing is Disney themed though.

Yea I was having Mardi Gras flashbacks (paid for overweight do to beads.) But we were ok.

We are not big candy eaters but the neighbor kids really thanked Disney for all the good candy given out.
