If you have a 12 month magazine subscription but you cancel it after 10 months would you expect a full refund or would you assume that you'd recieve a refund for the remaining 2 months?

My MIL did this not too long ago and she was upset about only recieving a refund equal to the last 2 months.

The company doesn't have a policy about full or partial refunds. Nothing. Nadda. I'm thinking (can you say flabergasted?) she was lucky to even get the 2 months back.

If there's no written policy on something like this, what would you expect to recieve after 10 months?

Noooooo. But I bet my MIL would be right there trying too, GBH!

I'm sorry, but is your MIL an idiot? The other day I decided to return a carton of eggs after I had eaten half of them. They wouldn't give me any money back.

I might expect a full refund if it was "satisfaction guaranteed" or if I had ordered the subscription on a trial basis. However, I think 10 months is more than enough time for your MIL to determine whether she was happy with her magazine. She was lucky to receive any refund at all.
