Question About BWV 1-BR

I would like to rent points for a 1-BR at Boardwalk, but have a problem: There are 5 of us - myself & my wife, along with kids ages 8, 6, & 4. I know that the max occupancy is 4, but we would be perfectly happy with the amount of room we would have. Question is how big of a deal is this? Are these rules bent often? Could we just register 2 of the kids and noone really notice or care? We would get our tickets from a broker and would not do the dining plan, so that wouldn't be an issue. It seems like it would be a problem with DME, but could we register our 4yo as a 2yo and be good? I certainly wouldn't want to cause problems for the DVC owner we rent from, but if this is something that is often overlooked then I would love to make it happen - Boardwalk is the place that my wife has always wanted to stay!

For the last few years MS has been allowing 5 in a 1 bedroom. Bedding is only provided for the queen pullout and the king bed at BWV, so you will have to figure out where the 5th person will sleep. Since your kids are still pretty young, an air mattress or sleeping bag near the entry door could work fine. Maybe all 3 kids could be on the king and parents on the pullout? There should be no problems with DME and all can have room keys.

P.S. While a 2 bedroom would be better, I am one who thinks you will still have a great time in a 1 bedroom (at least until the kids are older and you really need 2 bathrooms!)
