I know that Butterbeer is 2.99, but how much extra is the hard plastic mug? And can you get frozen Butterbeer in one of those mugs? I definately plan on trying both and fortunately I'm bringing my hubby, so I can get a Hogs Head Ale mug too.

I believe online it said $10 w cold butter beer and $11 w frozen. Refills in them are then $3 I think. I hope someone else has a more definitely answer but this is what I found.

In mid-July, we purchased a frozen Butterbeer in a souvenir cup and it was $11.50. We got it from the cart, so we could not use our AAA card for a discount, but I believe if you get this from the 3 Broomsticks or Hogs Head Inn, the discount (10%) woudl apply.

Regular frozen Butterbeer (no special cup) was $4.25 and bottle of pumpkin juice was $6.25 (we enjoyed the draft pumpkin juice more, never tried the fizzy version)

Tues (4 days ago) our Butterbeers from a streetcart were $3.25 each, but that included tax. We didn't get the mugs, but they looked like they held less anyway.

Thanks for the info. I guess the photo of the menu I saw was a bit out-dated. Doesn't matter though, I gotta get Butterbeer!

If you get a butterbeer mug, you can get soft drink refills all day too. I believe that they were $.89 and the servers were good at giving only a little ice.

Also if you have the mug then you can ask for a fill of water and it is free. Apparently otherwise there is a charge so I will be getting a mug. Being pregnant at a theme park means I need to take advantage of any way to get more fluids throughout the days I'm there. :)

You can get free ice water at any place that offers fountain drinks. No need to have the mug for that, just so you know.

Oh good to know. I was just told that it was free with the mug. I am trying to plan ahead in every way I can so that I don't have to leave the park for something as silly as running out of water. :goodvibes

Just checking....(look at my ticker..leaving soon!!!) If we buy the butterbeer mug we can use that for the 89cent refills all day in the park?? We will be heading straight to WWoHP when we get there Tuesday!!
Also can we use the mug for the week we are there or do we need to buy a new one each day?

Yes, you can use the mug all day in the park for the $.89 soda refills and yep you can also use it all week as well. You can even bring it back with you and use it on your next trip as well.
