Just wondering when everyone asked their friends/family to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. I'm trying to get a timeline together and this info would be very helpful. TIA. :flower3:

Once I knew we were having it there, probably within a week or so. But I'm the type of girl that likes to get things done ahead of time. Plus that way, if they have to travel, it gives them more time to save up and what not. :)

I know for my brothers wedding all of us bridesmaids knew our roles in the wedding before they were even engaged :lmao:

I was asked about a week after my friends got engaged and they didn't have a date picked yet when asked me.Hope that helps

Okay, thanks everyone. I was afraid I was jumping the gun a bit since we are two years out but now I'm definitely doing it soon. :)

It's good to let the bridesmaids know their duties early - that way they can start saving - being a bridesmaid can be a very big expense, from the dress, to the bridal shower, hair, nails, make up, gifts, etc.
