We are looking at booking to go end of Nov early dec. Our home resort is SSR.

We banked 185 points into our Sept 2009 UY which is not enough points to cover a ressie at SSR. So i i know i can borrow the remaining points from my 2010 UY but heres the problem -

Im hoping to be able to stay at 2 different resorts for that trip. If its possible we would like to do the first week at BWV and then the 2nd week at AKV with a savannah view if its still available at the 7 month window. This adds up to less points in total than staying at SSR.

So what would happen to my "borrowed" points from 2010 if i switch ressies? will they go back to my 2010 use year? or will they still be in my 2009 use year?

Hope that makes sense :goodvibes

They will stay in your 2009 UY if you borrowed them already. If I understand what you are saying, I think the best thing to do would be to use the banked points, then the borrowed points, and then the current UY points when making your ressie. Then, if it's within your banking window, you can bank whatever points from the current UY you didn't use into 2010.

What ever points that you decide to use, discuss your strategy with the MS Advisor before they makes your reservation.

They are supposed to use borrowed, then banked, then current points, in that order. Sometimes it doesn't happen and they have used our current points by mistake.
