Question about booking with points

When I want to book with points when does my 7 months in advance start? Any 7 months before the date of the vacation? Or Do I have to wait for the points to be added back into my account for that year?

For example, If I bought in February and so my points would renew in February, but I want to book a trip for June......can I book it in December even though the points are not "technically" in my account yet? Because they WILL be there before the actual trip itself.

Your use year doesn't determine when you can call to make a reservation.

At your home resort, you can call up to 11 months in advance of you check-in date and reserve up to 7 nights based on availablity.

At resorts that you don't own points at, you can call up to 7 months in advance of you check-in date and reserve up to 7 nights based on availability.

Your 2010 UY points are already in your account. You can use them to book any reservation during your 2010 UY. The 7 month booking window begins 7 months before your check in date. It has nothing to do with when you purchased or when your UY begins.

For example: I also have a Feb. UY(BLT is Home). I wanted to book a reservation at BWV with a July 26th checkin date, so I called MS on Dec. 26th to make the reservation. Hope this helps.

With a February use year, you would have 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 points in your account right now. There's no waiting for them to be "deposited". Use would depend on the applicable use year for the date of stay.
