Question about booking HH in June 07

I'd like to find from people who have had experience booking HH in early to mid June on the 7 month window-- should I expect any trouble getting a reservation for next year? Should I expect to get waitlisted?

Call day to day first thing in the AM. If you do not own there, it can be tough.

We don't own at HH.

3 years ago we could call at 4-5 mths out and book a week in June with no problem . Now you need to call 6 1/2 to 7 mths out.

All those points at the other resorts, are starting to make booking at the small resorts harder to do.

Thanks for the replies! We own in SSR and are making our first trip using our DVC membership in two weeks. Our plans for our membership are to take trips to WDW and HHI-- alternating each year. We have vacationed in HHI several times before and having a DVC there certainly made membership (even) more attractive for us. I will start calling for HH as soon as the 7 mo window opens and do the day-by-day reservations.
