Can we use our points and book a room in their name as a gift to them?

How sweet from your part!!!

And this is for right another way DVC changed life of DVCers (as somebody asks on another thread), without DVC it would be hardly to do gifts like this!!!

Good for you :thumbsup2

You need to put the reservation in her name. At that time you will need to provide member services with her address and phone number (or, A address and phone number - I suspect there are people who have made it up - MS needs something). So when you call, have her contact info handy.

"I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate."

What a nice way to get back in touch!:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :happytv:

did that and are doing it again this year. And spreading the pixie dust really CAN do magical things. We booked a trip for some dear friends right after the no smoking policy went into effect. All three adults in the family decided to quit smoking so they wouldn't be spending time at WDW (first trip for mom, daughter and granddaughter) looking for someplace to light up. That was a year and a half ago, and everybody is still smokefree. So glad!

See... this is where my radar gets cloudy... I couldn't have known that the friend was a SHE, but I think that is why I don't do the scheduling in my house... Just too much to figure out. Women are much better schedulers...

Hope your guest has a great time :thumbsup2
