Question About Booking Fastpasses for Family Arriving on Different Days

My family is checking into POFQ on July 3. My sister’s family is checking into POFQ on July 4. We are all linked in MDX. Will I be able to make fastpass reservations for both families 60 days before my July 3 check in date? Or will we have to wait until her 60 day window opens up? TIA

Were tickets bought as part of a package or separate? If they were separate you should be able to book for them at your 60 days (they won't be able to modify them until they're within their 60 days). I don't think it works like that if the tickets are part of a package, though. At least I had issues with that a couple years ago.

This is for our rescheduled vacation. Our May vacation has been cancelled.
For our May trip, we were scheduled to arrive the day before them, and were able to book their fast passes the same day of ours. However, we had a split stay so I didn't know if that was the reason we could book for them on our day 60. Their tickets were part of a package both days. I just wanted to verify so I knew how to plan for our booking day.

As long as they have active tickets for the days your booking, you can do it. They don’t even need a reservation. They just need at least one person on a valid reservation (That would be you or someone in your room) to be included in the same FastPass.

Wanted to correct myself on this one - if the tickets are date based, they won't be able to make reservations until 60 days before them. I had this issue when I was flying a babysitter down for the last part of my 2 week trip. My family all have annual passes so it wasn't an issue to make our fastpasses. I was able to get around it by making my husband fastpasses for those days, then they switched them to the babysitter when her 60 days opened up (my husband was leaving the day she was coming).
When my friends have had reservations before us, they have been able to make our fastpasses for us since we have annual passes. And since they use military tickets that aren't tied to certain days, we have been able to do the same for them if they get there after us.

We made our fastpasses this morning. I was able to make reservations for my sister and her family. They had tickets as part of a package. Thanks all for your help!
