1. How far ahead do I need to book the Fantasmic dessert package for the first showing; May 27th or 28th, and how far CAN I book ahead?

2. If something happens and we can't make it, can we get a refund?

Thank you!

You can book 1 month out, so if you want to go on May 27th, you can call on April 27th. There are no refunds.

Wow, I don't remember paying that much about 5 years ago.

See Fantasmic Information - The Show and the Dessert Buffet . You need to call on the exact morning right when they open in California. Tix go fast.

I don't know how "we" can get the above linked page edited, but the information is wrong.

It states: "Guests who prefer a reserved seating area for Fantasmic can book the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet as noted here:

FANTASMIC DESSERT BUFFET"

There is no longer a Fantasmic! dessert buffet (and hasn't been for a couple of years). It is a dessert box. It is very generous. You also get beverages.

Just booked this week for May 28th. Wasn't available for May 27th (that's a Thursday. Makes sense it opens on a Friday)

It was $59 for adults 10 and over, and kids under 10 was $49.
No refunds, but being it's opening night, if it doesn't go off, they will refund my card.

I was more concerned about them not showing it, than my family not being there....

The ticket office is closed now, but I'll have to call them & get the latest official title. :)

Yeah, you can book 30 days out. When I booked mine (Halloween time last year) there was no rush to do it exactly on the day, let alone exactly when the phone lines opened.

I was to-ing and fro-ing for quite a while before I decided to do it. When I finally called it was about 27 days or so before and they had no problems getting me in. In fact there were still spots left :thumbsup2

Cool. If this helps, this is from Disney's site directly:

"Fantasmic! Dessert Package
On select dates, you can reserve your front row riverside seats for the show while also enjoying a special dessert. Take in dazzling views of the fireworks, dancing water jets and breathtaking action of Fantasmic! 714-781-4400"

Just trying to help with wording,

I was reading about the lining up in advance people do when they buy the fantasmic dessert seating, and I was wondering what would happen if you chose not to line up. Say you just showed up at 8:30 with your dessert tickets. Would you have such an absolutely terrible seat that it was a total waste of money? Or are we just talking about no front row, but a decent view?

If memory serves, you have to show up early to sign in just to let them know that you are going to be there. People are now lining up early so that they get first pick of the preferred seating. The last time we went we sat in the second row of seats and no one had a bad view except my youngest daughter. So if you have little ones maybe lining up early make sense. But for us, lining up that early isn't that big of a deal.

Thank you. I finally found that third thread on this I had been looking for. It's a jungle in here sometimes :)
