Question about booking Dolphin with DU?

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of using DreamsUnlimited to book part of our dates in Nov. I have never used them before, but know they sponsor these boards and that they generally offer good service. But I have a few questions:

1. On one of the 3 nights we will stay there, Starwood and other web sites list both hotels as fully booked. However, DU lists it as availability confirmed for the Entertainment Club rate. Does this mean DU has a block of rooms for that date and I will be able to get a room with no problem if I book with DU?

2. In a couple of months I will probably have enough starwood points to cover 2 nights of my stay. WIll I be able to join free nights with the DU reservation so I don't have to move around? Does DU give you a starwood booking number so I can join the reservations with Starwood.

3. If I have enough points to upgrade to club level for all 3 nights, will I be able to upgrade the DU reservation?

Hi JandD Mom, I hope I can answer some of these questions for you. First not knowing the actual travel dates you are looking at I can't comment on availability for travel dates. You can also try booking the reservation now with Dreams making sure you are including all your Starwood information in the special request area so the hotel can add the info to your reservation. This way the room blocks we have are booked, just in case the hotel blacks out those dates in the near future. We never know when availability might change or the rate may change as well. The hotel dictates those changes and it could happen anytime.

Also include the information on the other room nights so it can be linked to your other reservation making it more likely that you won't have to move rooms during your stay.

The Starwood questions are hard to answer when all info is not available. I hope I have helped.
