Question about booking Christmas

How easy is it to book at your 11 month window for Christmas? Specifically, we are looking at the week prior to Christmas (December 18) through the 2nd day after Christmas (December 27) 2011. We are just wanting a one bedroom suite, not a Grand Villa or anything like that.

You should be able to book at the 11 month window for the dates you listed. Call at exactly 11 months and immediately waitlist if necessary if you don't get exactly what you want. I was able to book Dec. 18-24 at 8 months in a 2 br lockout at BCV (my waitlist never came through for 2 bedroom with 2queen beds in 2nd bedroom).

You'll be able to book 7 of the 9 nights on January 18. You can call day by day or wait a few days to add the other 2 nights.

Safest is to call Jan 18 for first seven nights and then add additional days daily

Thanks, everybody. I have never had any trouble booking Thanksgiving but I did not know if Christmas sold out quickly and I had to be on the phone as soon as the lines opened or what. Sounds like I SHOULD be ok if I call that morning and add on daily. I have reserved Thanksgiving as a back up plan but I would prefer to not have the kids miss any school next year.

You will be completely fine! We just got back from our christmas stay. I booked our home resort - BWV at 11 months out for Dec. 20th to 29th and at 7 months I switched to BLT. I got the first 5 nights at BLT without a problem and then waitlisted the rest of the stay. The waitlist came through about a month and a half before we were to leave. We had a fantastic stay!!
