Question about booking Buffalo Bill's and cafe mickey's

To get the advance purchase price for BB's was I supposed to book it when I booked our hotel? I just tried to book for when we go at Easter and I could only find one 6:30 slot that wasn't booked up and it was full price. I can't believe it's all booked up already because we can't do the one slot that is available

Also I just pre-booked Cafe Mickeys, picked the date and paid but couldn't pick the time. How does that work? Do I pick the time when I check in the hotel, and what happens if they've only got obscure times left as i've booked it for the day we arrive.

Can't help with BB's I'm afraid - I've always booked it at the time of booking the package.
Surprised that you weren't asked to confirm a time, whenever I've made restaurant reservations beforehand I've always specified the time, surely there'd be no point otherwise You haven't been booked for the character breakfast in error have you ? Who did you book through ? I don't understand why you've paid up front.
I'd ring back if I were you.

That's what I thought what's the point if i can't book the time. It's definately not the character breakfast it's from the official Disney brochure at the back. I didn't book through Disney direct I did it with a large travel operator who a relative works for. I'll have to ring them later when they get home.

Maybe the travel company always book the same time sittings at cafe Mickey

For future reference though you can make restaurant reservations direct with Disney prior to departure, that way you don't have to pay upfront and you will definately be asked your choice of dining time.

I just looked at the brochure again to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. It comes under 'Lunch Or Dinner With Disney Characters'. You can pick between The Lucky Nugget or Cafe Mickey adults £20, children £10.

Which dates did you try for? We are still trying to decide whether or not to go this time (we are there 25th-29th MArch) but if its booked up we may not be able to.
At some times of year there isnt always a show everyday so maybe thats why
