Question about booking 11 months out at home resort

If we are planning to check in on July 12th and check out July 22nd for our trip, and I want to book it at our home resort exactly 11 months in advance, do I call on August 12th to book or August 22nd? Is it based on check-in date or check-out date? These dates are just examples since we vacation in July. We are in the process of looking for a resale at BWV and want to take our first trip "home" in July 2010.

You subtract one month and go to the exact day as your vacation starts. So you could have called on Aug. 12th of this year for next year's July 12th trip.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. We're not going next year (so I didn't miss out on booking exactly 11 months out), but in July 2010. Those dates were just as an example, I will not be completely sure on which dates for July 2010 until probably the beginning of next summer, like a little over a month before we will book.

With the new booking rules, you can call 11 months prior to your check IN day now, and book up to 7 nights on that first call. In your example, you could call on Aug 12 and book July 12-18 inclusive. Then you could call back each day to add one more night to your stay or call back on Aug 15 and book the last 3 nights on one call. Another option is to make one call on Aug 15 and book the entire 10 nights in one call. The 7-night limit applies only if you are calling exactly 11 months prior to check in at your home resort and will be booking with home resort points, 7 months prior when booking with non-home resort points at any resort.
