question about boats from epcot to MGM

ok if memory serves, there's a lovely little boat that goes between epcot and mgm-studios. anyone know how late this boat runs? we have plans to spend a day at mgm, then when it closes at 7, go to epcot for 8:20 PS at le cellier. we do have a car but i think it'd be fun to take the boat there and back. only concern is, will it still be running at 10ish when we get out of our meal??

No -- the boat will not be running back to the Studios that late. We wanted to do that very thing the other night and had to exit out the front exit at Epcot and take a bus back to the Studios.

That's a tough one. I kind of doubt the boat would still be going back to MGM at 10ish since that's 3 hours after MGM had closed. But I could be wrong.

No, they warn you towards the end of the evening that the last boat to and from MGM will be about a 1/2 hour after Fantasmic ends.

How long is the walk around cresent lake from WS exit to MGM?

Depending on how quick you walk I would say 25 - 35 minutes. It is an option if you are up for it.

thanks for the advice everyone - that would not have been fun to have ended up stuck with no boat to get us back unexpectedly. if it's nice out (and my friend is up for it) maybe i'll be able to convince him to walk back. wouldn't hurt to try to walk off whatever we end up gorging outselves with at le cellier! i'm assuming you just go to where the boats pick up and walk along the path - nothing tricky, correct?

It's a nice walk but you don't have to walk the whole way. The boats will still be making their stops at the hotels after Epcot closes they just won't be going all the way to MGM. You could always take the boat to the Swan/Dolphin stop and then walk the rest of the way to MGM. However the walk around the boardwalk is beautiful at night and you may enjoy it.

it is a well lit and level path.
