Question about Biergarten

I thought I read recently that Biergarten had dumped Becks beer for Lowenbrau. I'll drink any kind of beer, but I was just curious. And if anybody has been there lately, do the still have the giant liter glasses of beer? Cause I'll be thirsty!!!!!

Oh, and if anybody's done "drinking around the world" let me know how you've done and any tips. I'm bringing some amatuers with me.....

They still had liters when we were there last September (didn't check in April). Not sure what beer they are are serving now. DH swears we had Sam Adams Oktoberfest last fall, but I didn't think it was Sam Adams. It was good, whatever it was!
