Question about Bell Services

We will be staying at BCV on points for 5 nights and I wanted to add a few cash nights onto our stay. We can get the Teacher/Staff discount over at the Swan and Dolphin which is a great rate but will Bell Services transfer our luggage over to those resorts since they are not Disney resorts?

Unless something has changed, they will not transfer bags to the S/D. We were in a similar boat about a year ago, and they wouldn't do it for us.

You could easily (and reasonably) get a cab to transport your luggage to S/D from BCV. (You could also just take the Friendship Boat or walk as it's a very short distance.)

Thank you for the responses. It would have been more convenient but it's not a big deal. I'm sure my DW, 3 DDaughters and 1 DF will pack lite.

DOC are you saying you can take your luggage on the friendship boats to S/D I thought the boats were people movers .

I have seen guests take luggage on the Friendship boats in the past. I can't imagine any CM objecting as they allow guests to carry all sorts of stuff- backpacks, large bags, etc. - on all forms of WDW transportation.

I wouldn't suggest trying it at park closing just because of the crowds, but can't imagine any objection from a CM.
