Question about background color

Why is the background of some posters blue? Does that mean you are a DIS veteran even if it does not say DIS veteran under your name?
Hope this is not a dumb question!!!
 
The background color isn't related to the poster... most of the forums will have two alternating background colors, just to help differentiate between posts. :D
