Has anyone here had a hard time getting reservations using the DDP as far as character meals and sit down meals are concerned? We are planning a semi-last minute trip for March 10th through the 17th and were hoping to use the dining plan. Will it be difficult to get reservations using the DDP with just two months notice? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

There is no disadvantage with regard to getting dining reservations from using the Dining Plan, with the exception of the two dinner shows, for which Dining Plan members are limited to Category 2 and Category 3 seating. Other than that, you're basically asking whether anyone will have a problem getting dining reservations two months prior. For the vast majority of meals, you shouldn't have a problem, however, it is possible that some of the more popular meals could either be fully booked by that time, or the slots that are left are very early or very late. As long as you're flexible with where and when you eat, though, you should be okay.

Thanks very much for your input, I appreciate your thorough answer :)

You can book your ADR's before you book your package. They'll just attach it to your phone number... call Today!

I had a hard time getting what I wanted at 181 days out:sad2:

Whether your doing the plan or not call & make some ADR's

That particular week is also school break for many schools here in Ontario. Not sure if that will have an effect on your or not. I don't think it's nearly as bad as say "President's week" :scared1: but just thought you should know.:)

I'd call now as well, even before you book the room. You can always cancel if you change your dates. I did the same for a surprise trip for EAster, dining arrangements done first before the room because of the season. Worked great and I got what I wanted, only 3 months out!
