question about ASM...

We are staying at All Star Movies for the first time in March. I read that there are different buildings, each with different pros and cons. We want to stay closest to Cinema Hall and a bus stop... where should we request to stay?

You might want to take a look at some threads on the Resorts board or ask this same question on that board. There is a lot of great information on all of the resorts on that board and a lot of very nice informative people to help you with all of your questions.

I beleive Toy Story and 101 Dalmations building are both close to the check-in area without having to actually book a preferred view. The closest is Fantasia, but that is preferred view. I honestly beleive that one of the Toy Story buidlings is closer than the Fantasia buildings.

We stayed in one of the farthest buildings from Cinema hall.. and still the walk from our room was negligible.. its the walk from the bus stops at the parks where the ASM busses drop off thats forever away! SHEESH! It feels like they drop you at the florida/georgia state line!

We love the Toy Story bldg....Very close to cinema hall, pool etc and still not a prferred booking....Plus kids will love this the best I think as the know Buzz and woody

but the Dalmatian bld is really nice and close without being a perferred room bld.......we were upgraded in December and got the Fantasia bld right across from the pool......what a way to go.....

We stayed at ASMo last August. We thought Toy Story was a closer building to Cinema Hall, but we ended up at Fantasia (bldg. #8). It was closer (+ $10/night extra), but Toy Story is close too. Of all the buildings, Fantasia is the closest, but if you don't want to pay extra for a preferred building, request the Buzz building (bldg. #10). Also, the buses stop between Cinema Hall and the Buzz building (Toy Story).
