We are leaving in 4 days for what was a last minute, supposedly "relaxed" trip. Our AK day is an EMH morning, but I don't realistically see us getting there before 8 am. Shooting for 8:30 ish. We have a FP for FOP so we aren't rushing to anything, but knowing that crowds will be high, still want to get a leg up on the "offsite" crowd.
How does it work if you are there at 8:30 instead of 8? I know that on normal days, sometimes they open it up to everyone before 9.... is that still likely to happen on an EMH morning? In other words, is there a cut-off time that we need to be there that we would still get to experience the EMH benefit? In other words, if we don't get there at 8, will we be entering the park with the offsite crowd, or do they hold them off until 9 am on the dot on EMH days?
