Question about Ariel's Grotto

Can anyone tell me the best time to check out Ariel's Grotto? I have never had the chance to meet Ariel, because we are always running around and never want to wait in line. This year I would like to get her autograph and a pic. Is it busier in the morning or afternoon? How about during the parade? Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

We've always gone there right away in the morning and had no problem ... once or twice I remember we went during a parade and while we waited in line, I always bring little things to amuse the girls while waiting and it was worth it, kwim. We HAVE to see Ariel when we go, I have three girls and Ariel is a HUGE hit with them all! Good Luck ... I do hope you get to see her!

We go during very busy times (4th July and New Year's) and we try to get in line as soon as the grotto opens around 10am. We still usually need to wait about 30-40 minutes, but the time passes quickly for the children because the play area in the middle. Ariel is a must do for us since she is my DD's favorite princess!

Thanks! I feel kind of silly as it will just be my husband and I. We don't have any children yet, so there wont be a problem with having to entertain anyone but ourselves. We could handle a 40 minute wait. It sounds like it is best to go first thing. Is it open all day or just during certain times?

I know we went during the afternoon last year and the wait was not long at all. For some reason DH always offers to take the kids in for this
